Muzzio Summer Cookin’!
Come see what’s cookin’ every Tuesday during the month of July! Our special guest chef, “Andrea the Great,” from Champions for Change will lead hands-on cooking demonstrations. Not only will she show you how to make healthy meals and desserts that taste great, she will also involve you in the cooking process as you try out your own tasty creations! You will also get a cookbook with all the easy to follow recipes you have learned so that you can go home and practice them. Like they say, “Practice makes perfect!” Sign up at Muzzio Park Community Center.

Successful Snacking
Are you tired of eating junk food? Learn how to prepare simple, inexpensive, healthy, and delicious recipes. From smoothies to fresh salads, you will learn how to make simple, yet healthy snacks. You will also receive a copy of the recipes so you can try them at home. Pre-registration at the youth center is required.
Ages: 10-22
Fee: $2 per class

Itty Bitty Programs Ages: 3-5
These action oriented activities are created especially for younger children. Learning the fundamentals and having fun
are the goals of this program. Itty Bitty programs encourage children to be physically active at an early age, and help
them increase their self confindence and make new friends. All Itty Bitty activities are non-competitive.
Flag Football - Fridays, June 4-June 25, 2010 5-6 p.m. Registration ends on May 20, 2010. Register by May 6, 2010 and receive a $5 discount!
Basketball - Fridays, July 9-July30, 2010 5-6 p.m. Registration ends on June 24, 2010. Register by June 10, 2010 and receive a $5 discount!
T-Ball – Fridays, August 6-August 27, 2010 5-6 p.m. Registration ends on July 22, 2010. Register by July 8, 2010 and receive a $5 discount!
Soccer – Fridays, September 3-September 24, 2010 5-6 p.m. Registration ends on August 19, 2010. Register by August 5, 2010 and receive a $5 discount!
$45 resident/$51 non-resident for each activity.
Traveling Thursdays Ages: 50+
Join us on Thursdays as we travel to different locations around the Monterey Bay and San Francisco Bay Area visiting interesting locations, enjoying wonderful entertainment and taking part in exciting adventures. These trips are for adults ages 50 and older. All trips depart from the Ramsay Park Family Center parking lot. Meals are not included unless otherwise
indicated. Transportation is by city van. For more information about these trips, call 768-3240.
Palace Hotel Tour and Lunch – Thursday, July 1, 2010 9 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. $55 resident/$61 non-resident. Registration ends on June 17, 2010. Fee includes lunch at the Palace Hotel.
Sacramento State Fair – Thursday, July 15, 2010 9 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. $45 resident/$51 non-resident. Registration ends on July 1, 2010. Various food vendors available on site.
Mountain View Cemetery Tour – Thursday, August 5th 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. $25 resident/$31 non-resident. Registration ends on July 22, 2010. Dining location to be determined.
Memchu Church Tour at Stanford – Thursday, August 19, 2010 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. $30 resident/$36 non-resident. Registration ends on August 5, 2010. Dining location to be determined.
Golden gate Fields Ages: 50+
IN BERKELEY
Enjoy the day watching exciting horse races from seats with great views inside the Club House. An all you can eat prime rib buffet and an official racing program are
included. A drawing will take place to select a few lucky participants to experience the Winner’s Circle and take pictures with a winning jockey right after the race.
This trip departs from the Ramsay Park parking lot.

HELICOPTER AIR SHOW IN SAN CARLOS
Spend a Saturday at an amazing helicopter air show! According to the Hiller Aviation Museum, the Vertical Challenge Helicopter Air Show is a unique event that allows
visitors to see helicopter operations firsthand. Over 10,000 people attend this show annually, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on this trip. Price includes admission
to the show and transportation. This trip departs from the Ramsay Park parking lot.
