Workforce

The City of Watsonville and the surrounding area has a workforce that can meet almost any businesses needs.  From engineers to programmers, we have the skilled labor force in our area to meet the needs of the most demanding high skilled employers.  We also have a strong pool of labor with experience in machining (including CNC operators/machinists), assembly, food processing, carbon-fiber production and plant science.  We also have a strong pool of semi-skilled laborers with experience in food production, agricultural work, manufacturing and the tourism industry.  We also work closely with our Workforce Development Board to ensure that when employers come to town, they can find the right training program to train their employees.  For more information about the workforce in Watsonville region, please call (831) 768-3080.
